I invited Thanna to celebrate her birthday at my place.
I rented a cottage from her and her husband for a number of years in
Lynchburg, Virginia and this wonderful couple became like family to me.
Thanna rode the Amtrak train and arrived in Olde Town Alexandria
where we dined at a French Restaurant and visited a shop.
The highlight of her stay was seeing a superb musical performance,
Les Miserables. Her visit ended with a nice visit and lunch with
our friends, Donna and Kevin. Happy Birthday Thanna!

Fortunately, it stopped raining when we arrived at Wolf Trap for Thanna's birthday surprise
We saw the musical, Les Miserables, inside the Feline Center at Wolf Trap.
We had orchestra seats with a great view of the stage.

The following day we drove to Ashburn, Virginia to Donna and Kevin's beautiful home for a visit
Kevin designed and built an impressive patio in the back of their house.
